As a member of the first Leadership Delegation to Mali in November,
2000 I saw the impact of Save the Children programs. As the old
saying goes, “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.” Programs
in Mali and around the world are making lasting, positive changes
in the lives of women and children. Delegations have visited Nicaragua,
Bolivia, El Salvador, Vietnam, Guatemala, Malawi, and Nepal.
